3rd Saturday of each month:

Our mission is to provide an affordable shopping experience for those stationed in the Kaiserslautern Military Community. We perform a 100% ID check at the register, so if you are a DoD ID card holder with Commissary and/or BX privileges, feel free to come by and shop! 

We greatly appreciate and accept donations during business hours. Due to OPSEC and security reasons, we cannot accept donations outside of business hours. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The RESA Thrift Shop CAN NOT accept the following donations:
Car seats, cribs, crib mattresses, helmets, used medical equipment, tube TVs, tube monitors, VCRs, VHS tapes, scratched nonstick pots and pans, used undergarments, used swimwear, damaged or broken items, soiled/stained/ripped clothing items, and linens (sheets/blankets/pillows) that are not in new or like new condition. Donated food items must not be expired and/or opened.

The RESA Thrift Shop proudly runs a Food Pantry from which customers are able to take 3 food items per day for free. Please see a RESA Thrift Shop employee during business hours for more information.

We are unable to write tax receipts for your donations as we are not a 501(c)(3) organization.  All of our profits are returned to the community, so we are also unable to negotiate prices or accept returns. 

The RESA Thrift Shop is closed on all US Federal Holidays and closes for a Winter and Spring Break. We may also close for inclement weather. Information about our closures can be found on our Facebook page and/or on signs will be posted inside and outside the store.
